2nd A/C installi

I'd like to add a second A/C unit to my 2015 Wildcat 31SAX.. one doesn't keep up. I believe it's a Dometic. I'm 50 Amp so it's wired already... my questions are...

1. What kind of unit do I need? Any rooftop unit work? Or do I need anything special?

2. Simple DIY project? Pull vent out and put unit in?

3. Will it tie into my current ducting and thermostat? Or will it just be for the master bedroom where I'm putting it.

Any other ideas or suggestions? The one we have just doesn't cut it. When I flip it to ducted, barely anything comes from the vents so I generally have the damper open to dump it and try to circulate with fans. Thanks for any help!!

something you might first try is pulling the cover on the current unit and making sure the supply air and return are truly separated and that the ducts system alines with the plenum and is taped to stop air leaks. AC units fit the standard 14x14 cutout, pull the vent in the bedroom and see if the ducting is there.
