3 way fridge not working on AC power

My Dometic fridge works fine on propane and also when plugged into 120 power. But now it doesnt work on just 12v battery power and doesnt drain on my house battery. It used to... had some work done on the camper recently and they blew a fuse on the converter system, is it possible to have blown a fuse on the fridge as well? If so where is that located? thanks !

It would help if you posted the make/model of RV or model # of fridge.

The service manual for that unit says that it has a fuse in the 12volt element line, but doesn't show where that fuse is located. It's probably blown. Find it and you'll probably find your problem.

Since you're talking about a non-Forest River product, what kind of RV is the Sportster?
A popup?

The Jayco Sportster looks like a truck camper. I would look for a fuse going to the fridge. Normally you only use the fridge on 12V when you are traveling and the truck is running. You would then switch over to 120V or propane depending if you have shore power or not.

yes the Jayco sporster is a pop up camper that sits in the bed of the truck. there are no apparent fuses near the controls area where the temp dial adjusts the fridge. There is a converter box inside the camper with two fuses, one controls the interior lights, the other one I'm not sure what it effects. Both of those fuses are still good. Outside the camper there is another panel above the main access one that reaches the back of the fridge, but its screwed down with about 10 bolts and sealed to the camper. I could get in there if I knew thats where the fuse is...

I had a three way years ago. The 12 volt sucked and never kept the fridge cold. I only used gas and 120 volt. forgetaboutit.

I doubt that box is where the fuses are. Since its listed in the manual, I'd guess that it's somewhere near the 12 volt element. At the back of the fridge.
