Need more info. Are you wanting to put a 50 amp service in your trailer or are you wanting to plug your 30 amp plug into a 50 amp outlet? You will still only get 30 amps.

You are going to need to replace your shore cable.
Your shore cable connection.
The wiring inside the rig from the shore cable connection to the breaker box.
The breaker box itself.

Are these things you are comfortably able to do?
If not, have a certified repair facility do the work.

BIG $$$$$$$. You must remove the 30 amp converter and electric panel. remove the power cord. install a new 50 amp panel and cord. Not a do it yourself project unless you are an electrician with deep pockets. Is called a Service Change.

And the other question would be "Why?". Not trying to be a smart alec. Really, depending on the 'why' there might be other instructions. Like if you want to add a second AC, then there's wiring to be run, etc...

having '50amp RV service' is certainly useful, as it is actually TWO 50amp hot lines coming into your breaker box, for up to 100amps of service - certainly a LOT more than the typical 30amp service, as it is truly only 30amps.

If you are wanting to add a second air conditioner, it certainly warrants the change, UNLESS you want to go a less costly route, and add an additional air conditioner with a dedicated 15 or 20amp compatible extension cord that you can plug directly into a 15 or 20 amp residential type outlet, which are usually already available right next to the 30amp outlet. Your new air conditioner size will determine whether you need 15 or 20amp.

You can continue using your coach just as you do now, but you'd have the additional air conditioner on it's own circuit breaker and it would not effect your coach's current breaker box setup. A lot less work.

Thanks all. The second air conditioner is the reason. However I have since read how someone installed the second ac in the bedroom complete with breaker box and plug into the electrical pedestal with a heavy duty extension cord. That will be the route I will take.

You do not need a breaker box to do this. You need to think outside the box to get wiring down from the AC and thru the floor of the trailer. It's easy enough. wiremold to a closet and down to the floor is one way.
Put a male cord cap on the end under the trailer. Use a HD 12 ga extension cord to the 20a outlet on the pedestal.

The converter is usually not dependent on the electrical panel. It just takes 120 volt AC and converts it to 12 volt DC. The same converter can be applied to either a 30 or 50 amp distribution panel. Converters are sized according to DC output amps.
