50 Amp to 30 Amp and EMS

Some of the camp grounds I want to go to have predominantly 50 amp service. My trailer uses 30 amp. I have an adapter so I can use the 50 amp. I also have a PI 30 amp inline EMS. Can I still use my EMS using the adapter on 50 amps? My first thought is no but I need to make sure.

I have a 50amp hardwire progressive Ind. surge protector does anyone know if it will work with an adapter on a 30 amp pedestal. I haven't tried it yet but my situation is just the opposite of the OPs.

OK. That's good news. I would have thought that I would not be able to use it. Thanks a bunch.

Use a dogbone style adapter with a heavy power cord from the plug to the receptacle. Beware of those that the plug and receptacle are one piece with no power cord, those have been known to overheat and melt.
