A/C condenser fans?
Wondering if anyone knows whether newer Dometic A/C units have an electric cooling fan(s) on the outside condenser?
Our FL neighbors have a newer GeoPro with what appears to be a low-profile Dometic A/C unit and when they run their A/C, there is a noise emanating from the roof that sounds like a cooling fan(s) ramping on (about 30 seconds) and then go off for several seconds. (about 45) This continues the entire time they run the A/C
Sounds just like the electric cooling fans on an automobile ramping on and off. (especially one at idle)
I can't believe the freon is low and the compressor is cycling with those short of times or it would experience rotor lock. They have said it cools fine.
It's annoying as hell and we casually asked them about it and they said... " you ought to be inside!"
They said it has done it since new when they bought it last spring.
Any thoughts? Anyone else's do this?
