A/C fan

My air conditioner fan Cycles on and off before the compressor finally starts. After the compressor starts the air conditioner runs normally. What is causing this?

You have had the bad luck to get a lazy compressor gremlin and some hyper fan gremlins, and that's just what happens! The hyper fan gremlins are running around starting and stopping the fan before the compressor gremlin gets off the couch.

Seriously, tell us the make a model of the A/C and thermostat and I'm sure we can come up with some suggestions.

If you have the Dometic single zone thermostat, you can try initializing it.

It's a Dometic 13500 air conditioning unit. The thermostat is also Dometic I believe it's single zone. It's a very small square thermostat.

There's the sequence for initializing it in the manual on page three.
Single Zone Thermostat

It's at least worth a try to see if it fixes it.
