A/C Trouble

This weekend we were camping and had the A/C on shortly after setup to cool down the unit. When I went in the camper later then evening it was warmer inside than outside. So i started troubleshooting. I turned the A/C to Fan Mode only and Ice started to blow out of the ducts. This usually means low Freon. So i took the units to the dealer Monday and they are telling me that they can not even look at the A/C until it is 70 degrees outside. Is this TRUE? I'm in Louisiana and the temps are in the high 60's. The unit is a 2017 Salem 273QBXL with a Dometic 15,000 BTU A/C. I'm still under warranty so that rules out tapping the line and adding Freon.

Thanks!
Chris

I'm sure they have an enclosed heated service bay. All they'd have to do is pull it in there for a couple of hours and it'd be above 70.

I'd think about finding an independent service provider that'll do Dometic warranty service and let them look at it.
