AC ripple

I have a 2016 Rockwood signature ultra lite 8329. My Dometic DMR 702 fridge quit working. All 3 lights flashing . I replaced the 15amp fuse and we were good, for a couple of days. Had a technician out and he replaced both control boards. Lasted a couple of days. Technician then said we had an AC ripple issue. Put a filter on same result. Any other things I can check? Also the same result on LP. Can I unhook from converter and go direct to battery for my 12vdc?

Sure you can. Though your battery power will not last long this kind of weather with the use of the furnace, lights, and other 12vdc powered appliances. Using a battery charger to replenish the battery will not be as easy on the battery as the converter would be.

If I am hooked to shore power wouldn't the battery stay charged?

If you actually have ripple on the 12VDC output from your converter, you will have ripple at the battery as well. This is relatively easy to check with a scope or a meter. It is possible you have a defective component in the converter. Did the repair person say how they determined there is ripple?

They measured it. I was just wondering if I could get around putting a new converter, but doesn't look like it.

No, not if you disconnect the converter as that is what your asking in your first post. The converter is what charges the battery.
