Adding 2nd AC with factory 2nd AC prep questions???

I have a 2021 529 RLKS that I started to add the 2nd AC to yesterday and have a few questions. The AC unit is a Coleman Mach 3 and the factory installed thermostat is a RVComfort.ZC 4 zone.

So far I have removed the roof vent assembly and have the AC unit set on the roof and secured with the inside retainer plate and bolts. I am waiting on the inside grill kit, which should be here on Monday. I have read all of the directions online several times and it appears a few things don't "match up" with the instructions.

1, The 120V power supply lead that is stubbed up to the vent area has a flat plastic connector body with metal contacts in it, is this a somewhat standard connector that I could find locally and built a short connecting harness to connect to the AC power connector? I know I could just cut this connector off and connect the wires directly to the AC unit, but I would prefer not to.

2, The other low voltage control wire colors don't match up to what is shown in the installation instructions. I have the following colored wires.

Double white wire with a black tracer.
Black
Purple
Blue
Red

This is what the installation instructions say I should have for wire colors and what they do.

Blue -12VDC
Yellow- Compressor
Green- Hi fan
Gray-Low fan
White-Heat (if used)

I also have the remote temp sensor for the thermostat and it has no instructions with it other then the thermostat instructions say to use 2 #6X3/4 screws and attach it to the wall. I am wondering if it can be mounted on the back side of the wall with the round sensor portion stuck into a hole in the wall from the back side. A picture of a factory temp sensor installation would be a big help.

Sorry about all the questions, just hoping someone has run into this before.

Thanks!
