Adding Sirius to Satellite Ready
Sirius Connect Universal Vehicle Tuner SCC1 | TSS-Radio
Looks like this is being discontinued and if you want Sirius instead of XM this radio is your last chance.
I forgot who asked about adding satellite to a radio the was "Sirius Ready" but here it is...

Lou and Laura, tried to find this on the forum, however, no luck. We purchased a 2013 Rockwood and although it was noted in the brochure it included and XM radio, it did not come with it. Apparently I had the undated brochure from the 2012 model year. In any case I do want to install XM in the camper (a setup with the removable head to use in the house worked perfect), we really liked it in our last Rockwood, any ideas of the antenna routing? I hate to think of poking a hole in the roof.

Just FYI, Dish Network Satellite TV includes XM. Maybe you want to consider that route.

I bought a home docking station for my xm radio a few years ago and found the antenna actually worked inside the house. Experiment by moving the antenna around inside your rv and maybe you can mount it somewhere on the ceiling and avoid drilling holes. I would think somewhere in a slide would be best. Good luck!

Barry, Da! I have Dish already, and since the tv will play through the radio, or can probably be hooked to the sat receiver directly so the tv doesn't need to be on, I should be set. I'm going to purchase one of those sat cubes to sit out that locates the sat by itself. Seems it is always a hassle to get the tripod thing setup, although i did purchase the little box that contains a small antenna and it is easier, but still think i could save a few arguments with the cube thing. Thanks for the information/idea!
Tailwind, yes i do that in my house, however, it seems like it only works through a window with a clear shot. will try the above setup as it seems like the easy solution. Thanks!

Ditto with a Sirius Starmate 5 - the portable antenna gets an excellent signal looking through the TT's roof.

Cool! Yep, the VIP 211k that you would use with a Tailgater has both RCA analog audio outputs and a optical digital output. It's just a matter of mating that up with your audio system )with preference to digital if possible). Enjoy.

Yes, the sat receiver can be connected directly to sound system.

Mine exits through the same hole the FM/AM antenna goes through.
