An AC issue

I have a new for me / pre owned rpod179
The AC works fine at land line hookup BUT starts and then trips generator hookup. The generator is brand new champion 3500 duel fuel inverter.
What could be wrong?

Your A/C surge amps are exceeding the generator capability. To over come this do the following:
Turn Refrig to Gas
Turn Water HTR to Gas
Turn Conv Off
After A/C starts w/Compressor move thermostat low so the a/c does not cycle on/off/on...
Turn Converter back ON
Limit power to 30A max
