Another fridge thread

2018 Cherokee limited.. only about the 8th time out with it. Wife is at campground with it and just told me the fridge isn't cooling at all, but freezer works fine. We haven't tried it on gas but I will tomorrow evening when I go up.. But the green light is on signaling power, and I don't think I can switch it to gas manually. Anyway, Im no electrician and don't know how to monitor the readings or what to look for.
When we first got it, it was too cold.. I put in a new thermositor and that fixed That issue, perhaps the thermositor is bad again..

If it was just turned on it takes quite a while for the fridge to cool. If the freezer is getting cold, just give it time and the fridge will cool also.

Gas fridges take quite a while to cool down. Most campers allow a day before filling them with food.

Is the RV at a fixed site or did you tow it there? The reason I ask is there a possibilities the thermistor slide fell off the fins or came out while in transit?

I can’t be much more help here so I’m sure someone with a lot more experience with this will chime in.. good luck.

O.k, this may be somewhat embarrassing.. My wife just said its slowly cooling down.. She said she put a glass picture of Extremely hot Tea in the fridge and thinks that was messing with the thermometer we have in there. So it may be o.k after all, which makes sense cause it was nice and cold while I was there and she put a Big piping hot picture of tea in the fridge then we ate and I left to come back to the house and she told me an hour later the temp had risen.
