Antenna booster issue

We have a '17 Vibe EL 325BHK. Sensar crank up antenna only gets 6 channels with the booster OFF. If I turn the booster ON, it will get no channels. I had a brand new Rayzar replacement head meant for the old trailer that was never installed. I put that on the new trailer today and still not better. Also what few channels we do get in the main living room tv, we only get half of those in the bedroom and it's on the same system. I hate to have to drag this trailer back to dealer again for more warranty work. Old trailer in the same exact spot got almost 30 channels. Slightly frustrated as connections all look good when I checked the back of the power booster. Thanks.

When you installed the new ant, did you also install the controller for it?

It's a Winegard Rayzar retrofit antenna head. Was a swap out for the Sensar head. Uses all equipment there from the factory according to the directions.

Only reason I asked was maybe the old was bad or something behind has loosened and needs to be tightened. Sometimes its the simple things that give us trouble.

Thanks. I am gonna stop at the dealer tomorrow. We've only had the trailer 2 months and used it once. I just hate to have to drag it all the way back over there if it's something I can fix.

I would remove the "booster" wall plate and examine the coax connections.

It sounds like a coax fitting may be bad on either the plate itself or the splitter it then connects to; or both.

It is also possible the plate itself is bad.

Thanks for the schematics. All seems tight in there. Tech at dealership wants the trailer in. He thinks there's a staple somewhere through a coax wire. Glad it's still under warranty.

OTA tv channels not received

I have a Winguard RS3035 pancake antenna on the TT and could not get any channels. Winguard sent me a new wall plate with 3 coax attachements. I replaced old one--still nothing. Winguard sent me new pancake antenna, placed it on--still nothing. Finally I started changing the coax connections and found those to be mixed up. Finally I found correct antenna wire and wow--35 channels appeared. Check that correct wiring is to correct poles.

Thanks for the info. It's still at the dealer. I hope to hear more from them in Monday.
