Antenna concern

Our 2015 Prime Time Avenger, has the typical "butterfly" antenna - (the one that comes with the camper, you wind it upward and can turn its direction from inside the camper).

Since we purchased this camper, this antenna has never provided any channels. I am wondering how to check the antenna to see if it is putting out any signal. I have checked on the camper's roof, and all looks fine. I do know that connecting a campground provided cable connection, on the rear of the camper, does play through the interior cabling, and runs the tv.

How can I check to see if the camper's antenna is working? Thanks much

On the wall plate where the Antenna cable connects behind the TV, there is a little pushbutton switch that turns on the amplifier for the antenna. You will get zero channels if that is turned off. Should have a little light, most likely green.

Another place to look if there is a cable connection out side near the ant. Mine, the center wire rusted causing no signal. Redid connection and worked fine.

If the roof antenna has never worked, I am leaning towards the wall plate power supply/switch being "off". In this position you will only get "park cable" and the roof amplifier will not function, as well as the roof antenna being disconnected.

Instructions on the wall plate attached.
