Antenna jack confusion!

I'm lost. I have an HD directional antenna on the roof and a sat cable port on the side of the TT. I'm not sure how they connect inside, because I have 3 cable ports in the entertainment area.

I took a picture of the 3. 2 are powered, and 1 is unlabeled.

No matter what combination I use, I can't pickup any OTA channels so I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong.

Any ideas?

Do you have the ant amp power button pushed little led lit. How far you from tv tower? Did you do a channel scan for this area?

I figured out half the equation.

The two coax connectors match up to Sat and Antenna. The antenna direction mattered here and turning on the signal booster.

But I still can't figure out what the single connector is for.

I have two inputs outside, labeled Cable/Sat. Sat matches up inside. but I can't find anything connected to 'cable'.

Your top connection is for SAT OR CABLE. Whichever one you plug into the one on the outside of your camper will come out of that. One or the other at a time.
You must have the booster turned OFF (Light not lit up) to use that connection.

The bottom one has TV printed on the plastic. You must have the booster turned on, your antenna pointed towards the local broadcast towers and a channel scan performed on your TV through it's menu to receive local TV stations broadcast over the air (OTA).

Thanks CincyGus

Are you sure? The SAT connection on the outside links to the SAT port next to Ant.

I just can't figure out what the single unlabeled one is for.

The single one is probably for the satellite connection to the second tv in the bedroom.
The cable signal will come through the same connection labeled TV. With the button off it passes cable signal to the main tv, with the button on it passes OTA signal to the main tv. I have the same setup in my TT below the main tv.

Are you talking about the bottom one in your picture as the unlabeled one? If you are, look at the picture again, it's labeled TV (Printed in the plastic in black raised letters) which I'm assuming is the OTA antenna feed to the TV.

If your talking about something outside, you've confused me.

EDIT****

OK, I was confused. Evidently, the first time I looked only one picture loaded and I didn't see the others.

This looks like an OWNER done modification and the nasty son of a gun could have at least labeled it for you! So it sound's like you've figured out that the two with the booster are SAT and OTA.

Have you tried hooking a source to the cable hookup on the outside of the camper and then a cable to the single connection on the inside to the TV to see if there is continuity and signal being passed through?

I'm wondering if the previous owner stayed somewhere where they had cable TV and he couldn't figure out how to use the SAT/Cable jack and installed his own for cable. Does one of the outside jacks/connections look aftermarket or do they look factory made?

Thanks for the reply CincyGus

I haven't hooked a source to it, since I don't have cable at the house. I'm using a cable tracer that uses and audio tone. I picked one up just to trace these out.

Still no clue on the single unlabeled one. Maybe it's disconnected in the back or as others have stated, they think it could be a jumper for the TV in the bedroom.

1st owner here, it's a 2019 Wildwood x-lite. I really wish FR would document their features better, nothing is mentioned in the owners guide.

Thanks for your help! I'll report back when I have it all traced out.

That single connection will be the satellite connection for your bedroom tv. The OTA connection for the bedroom tv is on the back side of the plate labeled AUX/SAT & TV.
The AUX/SAT connection is a home run (directly) to the outside AUX/SAT connection so you can connect to the satellite receiver. You then connect a cable from the receiver to the single connector for your bedroom tv. The CABLE connection on the outside is connected to the same circuit board on the King wall plate. With the booster button off the cable signal is passed to the TV connection, when you turn on the booster button the OTA signal is amplified by the amplifier circuit in the antenna head and passed to the TV connection.

As I said before, I have the same setup in my TT. The circuit board on the wall plate is a combination power injector/splitter/pass-thru/on-off switch. I've already had to replace the booster/injector/splitter board in my TT because of bad solder joints.

Attached is the circuit diagram for the board. For the boards without the tuner/power meter the 3 componets across the top of the diagram are eliminated.

Press the little switch which will turn on a visible light and then use your antenna. The switch is small and part of the cover plate probable :Cable" in port.

if you will pull those wall panels and look at the coax cable connections on the back of them it probably will make more sense to you.
