Antenna recommendations - Omnidirectional

My antenna reception issues were fixed in a previous thread. Now that I had to remove and reseal the tiny King omni (not even a model listed on their site), I am looking for recommendations for an upgrade.

There don't seem to be many manufacturers to choose from.

I was considering these:
  • King OmniPro OA1000/OA1001
  • Air 360+ V2.s

Others?

I am fine with the limitations of an Omni antenna. Just looking for a better one than I have currently.

Thanks.
Mike

If you have room the old style batwing with a wingman installed gives great reception. May not be the new in thing or pretty but sure does the job. JMHO

Yup. Had the setup mentioned here on our Georgetown, also known as the Sensar antennas. If you’re going to replace whatever you’ve got, go with this model. It beats anything I’ve compared.

Good, better, best.

Thanks for the replies. I will have to do some further measuring. The wolf pup has limited roof space and I plan to put more solar up there soon. The sensar IV looks great but I don't want to have to move it once I drill the hole!

No one likes an omnidirectional antenna?

Do you have a ladder? You could always mast the antenna and attach the mast to the ladder. Collapsible masts are also an option.

Are you looking for a fixed omnidirectional antenna, or an antenna that can possibly give you the best reception?

Omnidirectional units never seem to give great results, but there’s nothing to do but turn on the TV and hope for the best.

You choose.
