Any help from the company?

I just purchased my 3rd Rockwood trailer on 5/29/08. It is a 2007 (leftover)8314ss. Previously I have purchased new a 03 1940ltd pop up,and a 2005 2502 travel trailer. I like Rockwoods.

Okay here's the dilemma. Even though every function on my ZX500 radio,XM sat radio and model FR-LCD 190 tv work flawlessly. They will become junk in 2009 if I understand all the digital talk going around.

What do I need to do to be able to STILL use the radio, surround sound and the tv that came with the unit which is all brand new me being the first owner? and secondly will Rockwood,FR, or COncertone give me any credits towards newer units? Hopefully someone from the company will respond to this as you can see I've given them substantial money all within the past 10 yrs. I like the setup and don't want to modify the wall they 're mounted on.

From what I have heard about the ZX 500, it is integrated in with the TV set, and therefore channels are tuned by the ZX 500 and NOT the TV. IF this IS the case, you are basically SOL with that unit. My 08 has a Concertone ZX 600, which has a DVD/CD-AM/FM 5 speaker surround sound w/subwoofer, and the 22 inch digital HDTV made by VENTURER is separately controlled for the most part from the Concertone. The sound and the DVD signals are sent to the TV via video and audio in jacks in the back of the TV. They both have separate remotes, and are both 12 volt powered, which is great for watching TV while "boondocking"! About the only thing you can do is get a TV digital converter, and you can still watch TV that way, providing it's a 120v TV set.
Hope this answers your questions, and GOOD LUCK!
