Any one use an air filter in their RV?

I was doing some work on the Grey Wolf and checked the A/C filter. It was clogged again, just cleaned it a few weeks ago and only was out for one weekend. We do have a cat but man it sure does clog fast... Any one use a small home or office air filter to keep the environment a bit less dusty?

Yes -- we use one in the bedroom. It also doubles as a source of "white noise" at night.

No, I don't have any particular recommendation. I would make sure that it's a HEPA filter. After that, it needs to fit the space ---- both in filtering volume capability as well as physically. Its size has to fit where you want to put it.

I buy the filtrete filters and cut them to size. It helps get rid of the allergens in the TT.

Works very well for us. Of course, you will need to replace the material every few weeks, but one filter, when cut, can last 2-3 changings (with each piece lasting abou 3-4 weeks).

So you place the cut material inplace of the foam filter on the A/C?

We picked up an air filter (hepa) at Best Buy and run it 24/7 while in FL. They have some pollen down there that drives us crazy. But the filter solved that issue.

I use a Honeywell HPA060. Less than $100 and works great but only on AC power.

I put some wire behind, to hold the cut pieces in place of the foam.
