My call sign was KYX0269, handle was Bigfoot back in the day. Went through a couple handles, landed on Believer ion the mid 1990s and it stuck.

KHY6057 here, handle.. Texas Technician. Spent a lot of time tweaking radios and antennas for optimum results. Still have my SWR meter and dummy loads. Had a whip antenna in high school and was looked at by the hippies as a nark.

CBs have become a thing of the past. We used them for years in our Offroad cars however then we discovered FRS radios with VHF and UHF and never looked back. Most of us are now using 25 watt TYT TY-6800s in our Offroad cars now with a handheld for back up or trail recovery.
