Atwood Command AC Leaking Into Coach

2017 Dynamax Isata 3 - awakened at 1am to an interior rainstorm from Atwood AC filter area. Tried to level RV differently to make condensate run off roof faster to no avail. Shut down and opened windows. This morning borrowed ladder from KOA and removed cover from unit, found no specific condensate drain, just holes throughout floorpan. No trash or dirt in unit. DID discover that the paper tape around the two piece styrofoam air handler had dried up and fallen off all the way around, creating a gap. Science tells me that if the venturi effect allowed for warm air to pull in and mix with cold this MIGHT be the source of my “rainstorm.” Loosened the strap holding the top to bottom of the styrofoam assembly and sealed the seam circumferentially with duct tape. No leaking at the moment. My only other thought is when humidity rises later in the day and condensate really starts to gather under the compressor and over flow the pan—which is tilted towards the front—the issue may return. Standing by to raise the front end of the RV if needed to get water running to the back. Really just need some SLEEP!

Has ANYONE experienced this??

Also in search of an FR dealer in West or Middle TN to support warranty work. The FR dealers I have found have refused to work on my Dynamax.

Side Note Mumble, Grumble, and Whine: Very frustrated with Motor Home Specialists RV in Alvarado TX can’t get warranty person to call me back on Dometic Fridge thermal fuse recall, and don’t expect any help on this. Once they got the check $$$$$ for the unit, they forgot me fast. Beware. I still haven’t gotten a replacement for a broken fridge handle that I noted day 2 after purchase...even after speaking with Dynamax, who are very nice people; just lousy at follow through. The 2 Year Diamond Warranty is more like Cubic Zirconia.

I had this problem with a previous TT. When the water dripped down from the A/C unit it landed on the dining table, ran over to the edge of the table and creeped down between the edging of the table and the top part. This led to water getting onto/into the particle board the table was made of and destroying the table. It seemed that when ever we were camping in hot weather with high humidity the problem showed up. I took a dehumidifier from the house with us once and did not have the problem. The one gallon tank on the dehumidifier would fill up in about six hours. The problem with the dehumidifier was that it produced heat and we could not get the interior of the camper cool enough. You are correct in that the only drains on these RV A/C units appears to be the holes made into the metal pan the entire A/C unit sits on. When I set up now I tend to set the TT a bit off level to the back side and rear. That makes the water from the A/C unit run out off the left rear gutter extension.

Just curious if you ever solved the problem? I have the same problem with an Atwood on a Series 4.
