Atwood GC6AA-10E water heater propane malfunction

2016 Primetime Fury. Water heater on electric is good. On propane when first started heater operates O K. After water is heated and unit shuts down, once hot water is used and attempts to restart, heater defaults off. When the heater attempts to restart, the burner does light, and the ignitor continues to spark until the heater shuts down, which is only a few seconds. Anyone have any idea what the solution may be? Or what would be a good trouble shooting next step. If the T-stat or Eco was defective, would the burner even be able to light? Thanks, Roger
