Backup Camera

I would like to add a backup camera to my Cardinal 30RKLE 5th wheel. There are several, often very expensive, options on the web; among them wireless vs wired and multiple camera systems. If anybody has maneuvered through this maze and would like to share some insight, brand names, reputable suppliers (i.e. websites, etc), mounting hints, etc., that would be most appreciated. One question at the forefront is will wireless cameras mounted on the rear roof line of a 33 ft. 5h wheel send a strong enough signal to the video screen mounted in my tow vehicle? Or would I be further ahead to lead cable to the king pin box and set up some plug-ins? Thanks in advance!

Go to www.rvcams.com

I installed a Voyager Model WVOS511 Digital Wireless on my Cardinal 33CKTS last Spring.

The thing works great!

when looking at camera's look at the Lux of the Camera
the lower the Lux the better it does in the dark (.001) - if it has Infared then the infared will light up your area's field of view in the dark.

I will eventually put one on the back of my camper - money is tight since christmas has just passed.

I have a wireless camera (Mobile Awareness) but I use it to line up the hitch and it works great for that - I have tried to use it at the back bumper of the camper and the signal was not very good so the picture was fuzzy so that would not be an option for you.
