Backup-camera/rvs-770619 says "no signal" or pink screen

Another issue we have with our unit this year - have done the search and do not see any others with same problem.
Our camera worked just fine up to the last trip.
It is now just a pink screen and you can see ghost outlines of whatever is behind you.
My husband has taken it apart and changed the ports and also hooked it up to the GPS to see if it would work on there to no avail - same thing.
Done the resets etc also.

Wondering if anyone else has had this issue and what they did for the resolution.
