Blower motor won’t blow

Hello fellow travelers! Please forgive me as I’m sure this has been covered, but I am unable to find any threads that address this. Please feel free to redirect me if that’s easier. My 2010 Georgetown 357QS appears to have a dead blower motor. I can hear the compressor for the air conditioner come on, but I cannot make any air come out of the vents, in any position. Interesting point, I recently had my dashboard put back together after it rotted away. The blower motor was “coincidentally” non operational, after it was returned from the upholstery shop. Needless to say, the guys at the upholstery shop were of no help.
I have checked the fuses. I’m wondering if anybody out there might know where there are other fuses or possibly relays that may affect the blower motor. Many thanks in advance for all your time and attention. Happy motoring!
Steve

Non working blowers are usually a) bad motor; b ) bad switch; c) bad resistor for different speeds.

Resistor can be eliminated if blower doesn't work at any speed. Usually with bad resistor the blower will only work on High when resistor is bypassed.

Best way to find problem is with multimeter, checking from switch to resistor to motor power input.

Based on mention of dash work I would suspect a connector left loose when dash was off for repairs.

without the AC on does the dash vents blow air when you turn the fan on and select different position from low to high? Try selecting AC and then turning on the fan. Example on my work truck selecting AC does nothing until the fan position is selected. Just something to check.

Sea Dog!
Thanks for the speedy reply. I’m willing to bet that you’re correct, about the loose connection. Barring that, have you any idea where any relays bought be?

Stay well and happy motoring!
