Blu-ray?

I purchased a 2018 Tracer Air. The entertainment system model EEDV06, will not play a blu-ray dvd. The dealer tells me it does not have the ability to read a blu-ray dvd. Is this valid information?

I have yet to see an RV with a built in blu-ray player. They might exist but I don't think there are very many.

Some of the high end motorhomes and 5th wheels come with a blue ray player.
But none that don't cost an arm and a leg, have them.

i have the same drive and it barely plays DVD. (It does not play Bluray)

I purchased an external DVD player from best buy open box. Much better quality as well.

Probably just a DVD player, bluray disks are a great way to see movies but not forward compatible with a normal DVD player.

The low cost, crummy quality never comes at a surprise. I was amazed that buying a late year 2017 Surveyor, the Sony DVD player only had RCA outputs. For about $50, I will likely upgrade to a much nicer DVD player that at least has HDMI.

Our 2013 Cedar Creek has Blu-Ray. Jensen TV and lots of HDMI outlets.
