Boosting Satellite Signal

I have a 37 ft class A motorhome with a Dish Playmate TV satellite mounted on the roof. It was mounted where the manufacture had pre-wired to the roof near the front of the rig. We have two TV’s, one in the front and the other in the bedroom at the back of the rig. We get great reception to the front TV but poor to the rear TV. Was told by a TV repairman and by Dish Outdoor that the problem was probably because the cable run from the satellite to the back TV was more than 25 ft and the signal degrades after that distance. Question: Does anyone know of a devise to boost the signal strength or any other suggestions?

I've used as much as 100ft of cable with no problem.
I'd bet on a bad splitter connection somewhere in your coach.

Are you using a dual feed Playmaker with dual Wally boxes? If no then there is a splitter somewhere along the line. Satellite systems never play well if a splitter is installed. More info here:

Unless it is a "satellite specific" splitter. They have a very high ohm & "voltage passthrough" capability which allows for a clear satellite signal.

First off the Wally has no direct coax output and if the Wally RF output runs through a modulator to convert to coax for other TV's there is no issue with splitters. Splitters in the output coax side of a sat receiver is not an issue. There is an issue when splitters are between the sat antenna (dish) and sat receiver. The OP is most likely using the HDMI output from the Wally. If a second antenna coax was installed and routed to a second Wally it most likely was direct. The OP should explain the installation that was done. Don't think coax distance is the issue though.

The Wally has a coax INPUT. I have the Wally HDMI output going into an HDMI selectable splitter allowing changing from AppleTV or Wally. There’s another nonselectable but powered splitter that sends that signal to both the living room and outdoor televisions.

All the pictures are top quality 1080p with no interference at all.
