Cable

I have a 2018 Cedar Creek that I have owned for 2 years. I just pulled i to a full hook up spot that has cable tv. I plugged in my cable into the jack that says cable outside. I can't get it to work inside on my tv. Is there a switch somewhere? I turned the TV to cable and scanned but no channels were located. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Two things:

1. Don’t trust the labels. If I hook the campground cable into the connector labeled “cable”, nothing. If I hook it into the connector labeled “satellite”, I get cable.

2. My TV has one single coax input, so I have to unhook that cord from the antenna and hook it into the cable connector behind the TV to switch from antenna to cable.

I hope your issue is as simple as one of these two.

Also make sure the antenna booster is turned off.

Check with the office to make certain that they still have cable tv. Some places disconnect it because of the cost.
Also check at the office to make certain that you don't need a cable tv box to get it to operate (most have boxes to loan with a deposit.)
Make certain that you're scanning for both an analog and a digital signal.

I suppose I am naive enough to expect things to work the way they're supposed to. Thanks for the suggestions, I tried all of them, nothing seems to be working. To make matters worst, the antenna is not working. I was at least able to get a few channels that way.

Are you camping somewhere you can receive over the air stations?
If you've scanned for channels, made certain your signal booster is on for OTA, and tried moving the antenna (if that's possible), then I'd check the tv cables to make certain nothing has worked it's way loose. If none of that works, then I'm as stumped as you.
