Cable Connection

Prime Time Crusader

I have TV that will not connect to park cable. Can connect directly to park cable and can get all of their channels. When I try to connect to trailer cable connection, I get nothing. Over the air works.

Do not have the power button on on the cable coming out of the wall. Have scanned TV's several times and still nothing.

Removed wall plate behind TV and all connections seem to be tight, etc. Wondering how to check continuity of cable connections. Have meter etc, just not too sure how to go about it.

Trailer connector has always worked to this trip. From Denver to Seattle to CA Redwoods back up to Bellingham awaiting to cross border into Canada tomorrow when it reopens.

Have several more weeks on the road before turning for home so would like to get cable working.

Do have a TIVO adapter/connector ($45.00) that works great for movies, and streaming old TV series but would like to be able to get live news, etc in parks where there is cable but no over the air.

Help

I had the same problem, and just found a solution. Look behind the TV for a small panel which has a coax connector (not hooked up). Look for a small black button, which operates an RF switch which controls the coax going to the roof antenna or the outside cable connector. In my case, pushing the button made the small red LED go out, which disconnected the roof antenna, and connected the cable.
