Cardinal 34TS mesh panel to left of Breaker box

Hello,
My wife and I just purchased a used Forest River Cardinal Model 34-TS.
We are curious about a mesh grill directly to the left of of the Electrical Breaker Panel. They is a faint odor coming from behind this grill and wondering what it is for and what might be behind it and possibly how to remove the panel\grill to access what is behind it..

Any assistance would be appreciated.

Thank You

Possibly the water heater. That’s what was behind the mesh panel on our 2004 Cardinal.

Take out a few screws and you can look behind the breaker panel.

We have a 2005 36 TS. On ours the storage area is behind the electric panel, no screen next to it. Might be something the original owner did.

On the 2013 Flagstaff FW we had, there was a sub-woofer for the sound system behind a grill similar to that. Although, there were screws so the grill could be easily removed.

Thank you to everyone that replied.
It does indeed look to be the ventilation for Breaker Panel (Converter).

I pulled the converter to see if I could find the source of the smell.
The foam insulation was pushed up from around a drain pipe that occupies the same space. Suspect Mickey Mouse. He must be deceased in the hole.

We are going to check the foam under the 5th wheel and reseal above and below around the pipe to forever entomb the culprit. May he dry in peace.
Thank You
Woody and Tanna
