cd/dvd player rejecting discs

My cd/dvd player is rejecting all discs. Makes a loud clicking noise and spits it out. Any ideas?

Mine did the same thing, they come with a transportation shipping pin installed (dealer forgot to remove it) to prevent damage in transit. You have to remove the unit and remove the pin. Mine works fine now.

X2 should be a little label on the pin you have to remove

Hi Mollyscout! i have the same problem with my genesis 2.0. it wont accept a disc, just spits them out. i have a 2012 21ss. I have tried everything, rebooting to factory settings...used a blow dryer to dry up humidity.. this happened last year then fixed itself, now its happening again.

Thanks for the history. We took it into the dealer to have it fixed and guess what? It worked for them and has worked fine ever since.
