Post Changing "One Control" to manual switches

I need info on how to hard wire the "one Control" in the Forester 2291SF with switches. I have read all I can, and nobody I can find has done this job, and no pics are anywhere.
People say the water heater and water pump are always unuseable when the "One Control" goes on the fritz. I am told other commands can be made using the awning remote, smart phone with app, existing hard wired lights, or manually retract the slide.
I would just as soon get rid of the "One Control" and instead use hard wiring, but the prospect of trying to figure it out by myself is daunting. I am told it is possible to have hard wired switches as backup for the inevitable failure of the "One Control" system. Any leads to posts about this would be great. First-hand info would be best.
Help please. Cheers, Michael

I could just change over the lights, which would save time turning them on. Could just convert a few circuits only. Any experience anyone?

Here's a post of my dream system. Allows you to use switches or the One Control panel: http://www.forestriverforums.com/for...an-162727.html
