Changing to 10 cu ft 12VDC Everchill Refrigerator?

What's your experience dry camping with the fridge listed in the subject?

We bought a 2019 Rockwood Ultra-Lite 2612WS last December. It has an 11.5 cu ft Insignia 120VAC residential fridge. It has a 1KW inverter. We are currently running 2 group 27 12V dual purpose deep cycle batteries. I know true deep cycle are better but it was what we could buy within range of our campsite. When dry camping we can go a maximum of 12 hours without recharging (from 50% capacity) with our Honda EU2200, even with being miserly about our other electric use. The recharge takes well more than two hours twice a day, more like 6-8 hours.

The rig is in for warrantee repairs, among them the defroster on the fridge. We asked the service manager about putting in a smaller 2 way refrigerator, but we'd need a roof vent and a gas line run. making it cost prohibitive.

The Service Manager suggested a 10 cu ft 12VDC Everchill Refrigerator. It has an 11Amp 12VDC compressor. Our fridge has an 11Amp 120VAC compressor. Is this going to get us very much in the way of run time? Both the service manager and salesman have this refrigerator and like it but, have not dry camped with it.

We dry camp a lot and would NEVER have a residential nor a 12v fridge.
We have had 110v/propane RV fridges for 15 years and never had issues.
I've seen as many negative Everchill reviews, as I've seen positive reviews.
