Coleman Air Conditioner Dual Zone Thermostat

My bedroom ac unit which is a Coleman runs fine in fan settings but when I choose auto, it turns off when set temp is achieved but when the temp rises and is time to kick back on, the only way it does is for me to walk back to the thermostat and lower at least two degrees. I've replaced both capacitors with no luck so I'm beginning to believe it's a faulty thermostat.

Any ideas is what else it could be, I'd appreciate your thoughts.

Most of the time those symptoms turn out to be a faulty thermostat.

Have you tried disconnecting power from it and seeing if it'll reset itself?

Yes I did after replacing both my capacitors but no change. Odd thing is zone one works fine in auto but zone 2 doesn’t. You still believe it’s a thermostat gone bad?
