Coleman Mach Power Issue

We have 2 Coleman Mach A/C units on our Class C. Both are 11,000 BTU units as we are a 30 AMP unit.
We have a strange issue with one of the units. We have a Hughes Autoformer Power Watchdog that has Bluetooth so we can monitor the power. When we run this unit on
A/C the amperage load varies a lot and kicks off the Autoformer. As I watch the amperage usage it sits about 9 amps, and then it will go up and down. I have seen 47!!! amp spikes.
We cannot use it for this reason. Anyone else seen this behavior??
Needless to say the unit goes to the dealer as soon we get home as it is still under warranty.
