The DE'S Desktop computer came with a Free 1 year Subscription to "Malwarebytes" installed.. Now the one year is up and I am being asked if I want to renew.. Any comments / opinions about "Malwarebytes".. worth it?

There are tons of malware/anti-virus software out there that you can download for free.

Malwarebytes is good but I use the free version. I also like Avast, AVG and Zonealarm. All have free versions as well.

Several years ago my company computer help desk person turned me on to the free version of Malwarebytes and I've used it weekly ever since.

Well i see this is an older thread. but while back Adware Cleaner was bought by Malwarebytes . It's a small file you can download to a usb stick, Run it, removes almost all virus. takes about 3 min start to finish. No internet is needed to run it. i use it on all my customers pc's.
