Concertone gone

Hello everyone, just was checking another FR forum and it appears that they are no longer using a Concertone for stereos. According to a person who works for FR in Elkin they are switching to the Jensen product with a HDMI output.

Hmmm... I exchanged a couple of emails with Bob Fields over the last few days, and if this is the case, he didn't breathe a sound of it.....

My 2012 lacrosse 318 has the jensen system in it. I've been really impressed with it.

That's interesting. The Genesis 2.0 that came with my camper a few months ago is being replaced under warranty. I wonder what I'll get.

Is this a change that happened just recently? Our Rockwood was built on 5/19/11 and is a 2012 model and it has the Genesis 3.0 (Concertone ZX800). Which means our TT is only 64 days old.....

ditto. I thought all were rolling off the line with the Gen3's. Our offline date was 6-25-11...it was a week late b/c a new batch of Gen3's had just been delivered the week prior.

I believe the OP is referring to a post on the Wildcat Owners forum.

A Wildcat upper management employee stated they have listened to their customers and Concertone will no longer be used in Wildcats. They will indeed be replaced with the Jensen.

He said nothing about other Forrest River products.

+1 for Wildcat on this issue!

My 2011 Sandstorm came with a Clarion stereo, amp, speakers and sub. We've been very happy with it so far.

We live in Barboursville but spend most all of our camping time in the MNF or close by in the mountains.

My wife has actually been working in Bluefield and Beckley this week.

The B/P area is one area of the state I have not spent much time other than traveling through on I77. We find ourselves around the Beckly area quite often though and make it down to Twin Falls and Camp Creek State parks some.

We've stayed at Stonewall a few times. Its a very nice park but extremely hot there in the summer with no shade. Good Musky fishing there as well.
I caught my biggest Musky there (41") while fishing a topwater buzzbait for bass!

I love to fish the mountain streams/rivers for trout and smallmouth bass. Float trips in my canoe for Smallies is by far my favorite fishing.

I sold our fish/ski boat many years ago and purchased a canoe. My only regret was not doing it sooner. I love those mountain streams/rivers.

Zx50

I think that would be great. I just started having problems with my ZX50 (still under warranty). Maybe I will wait a little bit and see if I can get a Jenson...

The in-dash stereo and both TV sets in my 02 Georgetown are by Daewoo. Their web-site says they don't do entertainment systems any more so tough s--t!
