While out we had another issue with the concertone. The display is not working, and as a result neither is the separate head for the xm because we can not find the input setting. The sound changes and we can get a movie to play but have no idea what settings we are on. Has anyone else had a display issue? What was your fix. This is our second concertone and I'm sure we are not alone in the constant issues.

Mounting screws that hold the unit to the cabinet being too tight have been known to cause problems in the display and button presses. My zx700 had button press issues and I was able to clear them up with a tweak to loosen the mounting screws. My guestimation is that it just tweaks the circuit board in the cheap sheet metal body these things are built in.
Other than that, I would say it's warranty work/replace.
If mine ever goes down hard, it's going in the trash and I'm putting in a decent car stereo with enough "aux in's" to handle all my entertainment components.
I'm half hoping it goes soon, I want blueray in the trailer anyways and refuse to buy a dedicated one until the concertone calves....
