Concertone Removal without messing up

Saw some posts asking about this sort of thing. I suspect all Concertone are similar to mine. Jensen and iRV probably pretty much the same.

There are two tiny slots located on the bottom of the trim piece. The slots are very small. Insert a thin screwdriver to start removing the trim. NOTE! The plastic trim that touches the wood cabinet will remain in place for now. Don't pry between the plastic and the wood!

Remove the trim with your fingers

This will reveal 10 screw holes. Usually not all of them will have screws installed. Remove the screws and the unit slides right out.

The wiring is bundled into groups with connectors. You will need to have a way to keep the RVs wires from falling down inside the cabinet, like tying them off with string.

Be sure to reinstall the trim with the slots on the bottom.
