Connexx OTA settings

I'm having a heck of a time getting over the air (OTA) channels with my winegard antenna and Connexx TV. Most TVs have an OTA setting. This model only has the live TV setting. Am I missing it? My model is a CX32A23ETVDCS. I don't expect to get much of a signal at the campground but I can't even pick any channels up (after performing a search of course) in my driveway. And yes, the switch is on behind the TV for the antenna. I have cheapo rabbit ears hooked up to a TV in our garage and it gets 17 channels. Any help would be appreciated.

The user manual for your tv is on the tv as a electronic file. Go to main menu and select user guide. It will have the procedure to set your tv for air(OTA) and to channel scan. On most tvs from this company it is: setup menu...channels... AIR/CABLE (select AIR) then start the channel scan.

The OTA antenna preamp located at or in the antenna enclosure could be defective. Ours was and I had to replace the antenna.

To determine this one will need to access the coax at the antenna on the roof. Measure the voltage between the center pin and the outer shell. It should be about 12 volts DC. If no voltage is present, check for a blown fuse in the converter panel on the DC side. Or one could have a disconnected coax on the back of the TV/Cable switch on the wall. Pull the plate and check to see all cable connectors are tight.
