Convection upgrade for microwave?

Hello,
I have the magic chef mcg992arb microwave.
14.5”L x 19.1”W x 11.4”H.
I contacted magic chef and they do not make a direct replacement. When searching convection ovens for RVs, I have not found an exact dimension match and some do not offer a depth measurement. I would rather not just buy something close and start hacking away until I check with you all. This should be a pretty common unit for Forest river trailers. I was hoping someone has found something that fits. It will be an in cabinet application, so I will probably need a front cover as well.

Anyone? Thanks in advance.

We have the Whirlpool convection/microwave.

The DW is pleased with it. Very much.

Until we did some boondocking this fall we had never used the gas oven in three years.

Changing microwaves is usually not a big deal.

We seldom get 6 years out of our house microwave.

I have a 2015 dynamax DX3. I replaced my original micro with a Bosch convection micro. Best move I could have made. Fit was perfect.

I replaced my microwave in a Coachmen Class C with a Contoure microwave-convection oven (contoureusa.com)and we love it. It also has an air fryer built in. I found that the best way to check for dimensions is to take out the old one and measure the cabinet space available as there is typically more room in the cabinet than the front dimensions of the microwave suggest.

Thank you for the replies and recommendations.
I'll pull the old unit out and take some measurements!

They are junk now. My old over the stove model lasted 20+ years. New GE one lasted not even 2 years, kept blowing internal fuse. I made a big stink with GE, and they gave me a good faith big rebate purchasing the same one again, plus I bought extended warranty through Lowe's this time. I usually never get extended warranties. New one was cheaper than buying parts needed to troubleshoot old one.

The Contoure looks pretty good and reasonably close in size...
Thanks!

I don't think this one would fit my application. (20 1/2" W x 14 1/4" H x 18" D)
Too bad... I like the price!

I don't envy you your search. I did a bit myself and the BestBuy website is the easiest to search by dimensions.
Now searching Amazon by that serial # shows this and the dimensions are pretty close. https://www.amazon.com/FOREST-RIVER-...62211409&psc=1
Seems a bit pricey and doesn't contain a convection oven (which I love). A bit of useless information.... An air fryer is basically a convection oven with baskets to contain the food.
