Converter interferring with AM band on radio

Hi All,

New owner of a Vibe 6501, the converter (we've had this brand before) WFCO WF-8955 is interferes with the am radio band to the point that the stations are totally static. Has anyone had this problem before?

Thanks,
Ozkamper

Best bet is to buy a radio suppressor from radio shack
it may not solve it but will most likely help.

Ailing Converter

Hi,

My radio would work for 20 to 30 minutes then it would start with the static, talked to a electonic repair guy and he said that the radio was getting "dirty power". Took converter out of trailer to the the electronic shop and they found a bad capacitor. Problem fixed!!

I found the antenna of my concertone rolled up and tied behind the unit while trying to resolve other issues.

Don't know about which unit you have.

good luck
