Cover for a small 2 burner stove...

Hello,

Does anyone know of a company that makes a cover for a small two burner stove? I can find ones that fit over a four burner, but have not found anything to cover up and give me more counter space for my small two burner stove.

Thanks

A question . . .
Roughly how big an area needs to be covered?? (the 2 burners bit ; )
And roughly how high are the burners from the stove surface??
Would a metal baking dish . . . with 2 inch wall and full slab size be large enough?? (Full slab would be four (roughly) 6' by 9" cakes together, so 12" by 18" total).
A kitchen outlet may even have one for you in stainless steel. Screw a cutting board to the bottom and new work surface.

Do make sure the dish is high enough to NOT to depress the "press to lite" feature of the stove.

Moved thread from the General Tech and Repair section to the Appliances and Electronics sub-forum since the OP's questions are specific to Appliances.

You need to get out your tape measure and get the dimensions.
Then... would something like this work?

Maybe something like THIS would give you more of a work surface than thin metal.

Yes, your right. I should have included measurements with my original post. I will update it.

I should have added this information to begin with, but my two burner stove is a
Capital Cooking Products Model D-1204SSWO stainless steel.
The overall size is 18" x 12.75" and is about 1.75" at the highest point.

thanks. I would rather find a stainless steel cover as i already have plans to make a cutting board cover for my sink. But it might be an option, though I dont think its wide enough to fit my particular stove.

Thanks, I have updated this post with measurements and the actual stove model.

I like this one, but I don't think it will fit and to say its a bit pricey would be an understatement. Ouch.
