Unhappy Crusader 325 Dometic RM1350 driving us crazy

I have searched all over the forum and the internet for a answer and can't really find one. I have read about fan noise (which is a minor problem too) but besides that our RM1350 makes a "Wamp, Wamp, Wamp" sound about every second while the fans are cycling. This noise is clearly audible and very annoying inside the 5ver. As a matter of fact it is doing it as I type this. With the right side freezer door open it sounds like the noise is coming from the sidewall. I had brought this up to the dealer and they said it was normal. I plan on doing the fan mods but this seems like a different issue. I have read some people say it's an inverter issue but, if turn off the refrigerator the noise stops.

I'm thinking he's referring to the rm 1350 as his fridge and not a particular crusader model. And I think he has a side by side fridge not the reg top and bottom style. We have the std one and no noise here.

It is the 4 door refrigerator.

The RM1350 is a side by side fridg. I have one in my trailer. I don't have a problem with the fan noise, it just never bothered me. As far as the "Wamp Wamp Wamp" noise, never heard that one. You can open the two doors on the outside of your camper and get pretty good access to the back of the fridg, maybe you can find the noise. You can also contact Dometic they have always been pretty good to me.

If you can get access to the frig fans, if it has them, why not look and see if a mud dauber has been there or maybe a rodent of some kind has not knocked your fan out of balance. My 2 cents. Good luck

Listened to sound. Sounds like something is being bounced off fan blades to me.

Pulled my 1350 because fans not working. Discovered one fan had a wire dropped down on the blades.

After camping over the weekend and enduring the noise I called Dometic on Monday when we got hone. I still had the frige running and using a cordless phone I let the Dometic Rep listen to the sound. She said "I can see how that would be annoying" I told her what my dealer had said she would you like to take it somewhere else, I said yes and she asked me if there were any dealers near me. So I called Camping World in Lake City and made an appointment for Wednesday. I get there and we had to wait for the frig to cycle (I had turned it off on Monday) it took about a hour. And they agreed that was not normal. They got approval from Dometic to do the work and had to order new fans. They said it will take a few days to get them. One thing they noticed was that the cooling coils were pressed right up against the wall and said that could be also causing the noise issue. I left the 5ver there hopefully I get it back early next week. If anyone has a 2014 325 with the 4 door frige can you check and see if the coils on yours are right up against the outside wall?
