DM2652 too cold

I have a 2014 Rockwood 5th wheel and the fridge is too cold. The temp slide is all the way down and food is still freezing.

No information on age or model of camper.
This would allow some idea of the age of the fridge.

Here is a troubleshooting guide.

He said 2014. Frig must be fairly new.

Just cause I'm a dummy ...is the sensor actually in the slider? ... and moves with the slider?

If the sensor is just dangling at the bottom of the fridge it will just run forever and freeze everything. Ask me how I know that

Nothing in my manual explains this little issue.

Another post I read in exploring my fridge freezing everything I think said the sensor can be dysfunctional or need to be reset maybe? This also can cause fridge to run at full blast and not shut off appropriately when cold

Yes. Both TT frigs I've had with slide adjustable thermostats clipped onto a fin had a white wire coming thru the back wall, inside the frig just beneath the fins on the right. The end of that wire has a (thermocouple like) sensor on it. That end was wedged into the sliding clip. It can be high or low in the clip. Can also fall out. The higher the wire end, the colder the frig. You may have to pull more white wire into the frig thru the hole. Gently.
