Does it seem like there is little heated air coming from ducts?

If you think that your heat ducts aren't producing the amount of heated air you would expect there might be a good reason for it. Whoever installed the ducts probably didn't read the instructions provided by the furnace Manufacturer and just routed the duct wherever he (or she) felt, making tight turns and kinking without thought.

I found this to be the case in my MicroLite.

Here are a couple pic's of the ducts where attached to the furnace:

I ordered some better quality 4" duct from amazon, 25 ft for $16.99.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Definitely a more substantial duct than the "Reynolds Wrap on a Spring" stuff the factory used.

To give you an idea of how convoluted the original duct from furnace to discharge vent to the side and below my refrigerator was I laid it out on the floor and snapped a pic in the shape it took while in use.

The black duct is representative of the replacement, shorter and more direct.

NOW, when the furnace kicks on there is some real air movement and heat from the ducts.

Old ducts were restricted enough I think it was causing some cycling of the burner. I could hear the solenoid operating, turning on and off the flame much like the oven does while baking.

Straightening out the runs did require the removal of some panel material but it was all under the sink, stove, and refrigerator, and mostly behind the little panels the factory puts in to keep pots and pans from interfering with ducting, wires, etc. Making a U-Turn around a panel because the person doing the electrical cut a corner off the interior panel and left room for the duct makes no sense when cutting a hole opposite the Hub on the furnace and making a straight run, completely by itself, would work so much better.

Anyway, just sharing because I'm sure that there are others out there that camp during cold weather and want their furnace to put out all the heat it's generating.

Thanks for the tip Mike! I noticed the airflow in our Cruise Lite was much less than in our old Jay Feather. Guess I'll check out the duct work and see if I can improve things.

I do a lot of boondocking and ditched the furnace altogether for many reasons. Now, I use LP Gas Catalytic Heater https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B000EDQR8M

I also added a hose connection through my furnace to run it

and extend-a-stay kit to increase the capacity of my propane tank and reduce the chances that I need to break camp to fill propane.

Works like a charm and keep me cozy when it matters the most. Let me know if anyone is interesting to know more.

I shortened every run in mine, lessened some sharp turns and even rerouted a 180* bend that was done cause of lazyness. Increase flow by a lot. We dont use in the winter so didnt look to change to insulated ducts.
