I have a model # RM 4223 and I have a small problem. It runs fine on gas and battery but not on regular AC power. Any suggestions? Yes, it is connected and the outlet has power..... I did run it on gas and AC by mistake for a while- could that have created the issue?

Having run it on gas and AC may have hurt it. The heating element has a resistance/ohms value and if it is not where it is supposed to be it won't get hot enough. Below is a link to the manual http://www.gas-refrigerators.com/pdf/RM4223-manual.pdf
It does say, not to run it on more than one power supply at a time. It does not say, what the ohms are supposed to be. You can call Dometic and ask them and also ask the part number. A local RV parts store should be able to order it for you.
I would check fuses first, just in case.
Another important thing "NOT to do" is run it for a prolong time on the DC mode. It puts a strain on the power converter. It can cause the power converter to die.
DC is a maintain mode only. Once cool at home flip it to DC and it maintains for 6 hours only while going down the road. If it is real hot it won't last the long.
