Dometic A/C fan stopped working

The A/C fan in the bedroom 13.5K unit stopped working today. The compressor still starts but the fan does not come on.

I’ve tried to operate in “Fan Mode” only. I’ve tried all selections of Auto, Low, Med and High. None work.

Has anyone had this problem before.

The thermostat is a Dometic Comfort Control Center ii. The main A/C in the living area is working normally, TG....we are in Key West...leaving tomorrow so not a big issue but wondering if it is the fan motor or the thermostat control board or something else...

Since the fan won't run in any mode, I'd suspect that it the fan motor or relay.

Can you tell if the motor is humming when you try to run it alone?

Get on roof, take off cover on as, spin blower by hand, then turn on ac. Mabee the armature has a flat spot on it. Seen this before, might get ya through weekend. Then you can replace motor.

It's possible that the capacitor has gone bad.
