capacitor's are rather generic. There are voltage and capacity printed on the top (capacity is rated in microfards). If you match that, and the number of connections (there are start capacitors and start/run, the later of which have more connections) a capacitor of equal or greater should be fine. Johnstone Supply is a good source for generic parts like this

I bought some for my home ac unit. Got the number off the old one and did a search on Amazon. They were really cheap so I bought two.

Here are the specs for that particular cap.
Overall Dimensions 2-1/2"Diam. x 3-5/8"Tall
Body Height 3-1/4"
Microfarad Rating 40/15
Capacitor Voltage 370V AC

Amazon has some that can be shipped quick. It's oval so you'll have to adjust the strap to fit, but that shouldn't be an issue. There should be plenty of room for it.

AC caps are generic and cost under $10-$15 delivered. Just get the right mfd capacity AND voltage... The number should be something like 5/55 and 440 volts

This is the cap for my heat pump fan at my home... THIS IS NOT YOURS but just an illustration...

Dometic capacitor

My Dometic ac quit working. Compressor would not start. It made a loud clicking noise for a few seconds and would shut off on overload. I replaced capacitor and it still wouldn’t work. Had to get a hard start kit from Amazon. $24 easy install. Works fine. My unit is 6 years old. Kit installs next to the capacitor. Good luck

I finally found the correct capacitor in Florida and having it shipped. The 40/15 370v capacitor is out of stock at every online site. Finally found an RV mobile repair shop in Florida that had one. Let’s hope that fixes it!

Glad you found one. For future reference, you do not have to match it exactly. Most folks think you do. But you don't. The voltage rating is the maximum voltage it can be exposed to. In an RV/TT system that would be 120v (240v in rare cases). So a 250v cap could be used. The capacitance rating can be higher. So a 50/15 or 50/25 would also be fine.
