Dometic Duel Thermostat not working right

My furnace will run and my fan/air runs along with it. gets hot and neither shut off. the fan will automatic switch to high and the furnace shuts down. then get real cold and the furnace turns on. nothing is ever off its either one or the other or both running. Whats up with the foolish thing?

Thermostate/Heat/Air problem

dcal12: I know you are going to get requests for the RV model, year, furnace model and air unit so it would be best to post those up front. It sounds like a defective thermostat or not wired properly. The fan on the furnace does not have a high/low speed that I know of. The air conditioner does have high low. If they are both kicking back and forth and both trying to function, it sounds like what I mentioned above. Frank

Ask your dealer. Mine did that on my Cardinal when I went to do the initial walkthrough and the salesman "reset" the thermostat by holding two buttons in for about 5 seconds. No problem since. This was on a digital thermostat.

Sounds like, possibly, the stat is set to low or high instead of auto? Maybe? Make sure fan is in auto mode for heat.

Otherwise, I'd agree with the others and call your dealer or check manual you see if you can do a reset on the stat.
Good luck
