Dometic Fridge only cools on Propane

Fridge is getting power as the inside lights works. Cools on propane, but when switched to electric, I only hear faint clicking and the CHECK light comes on. Good AC power coming into the unit. Ideas?

Not sure which Dometic you have but if you plug in shore power and your switch is set to auto, it should switch over to 120VAC and you should not hear clicking. That is your ignitor trying to light. The check light only comes on when it is trying to light the flame and there is no ignition of the gas flame.

BTW, the inside lights are 12V. Do your 120VAC appliances work like your microwave ove?

I agree.

If you are truly switching to electric, you should hear no faint clicking and the check light wouldn't illuminate. Those are LP functions.

You say "good AC power coming into the unit"... where?
Is the refrigerator plugged into an outlet? (look inside the outside cover(s)
Have you checked the outlet the refrigerator is plugged into for power?
Have you checked the breakers in your power distribution box?
Have you checked the fuse for 120v AC on the control board of the refrigerator?
What is the procedure you are using to switch power modes?
What model refrigerator do you have?
